Investing $55M in Huntsville manufacturing

In 2026, GE Aerospace plans to invest another $1B to deliver for our customers, scale production of more durable parts, and support military missions – all with safety and quality at the center. In Huntsville, we’re investing $55 million in new and upgraded production equipment and building improvements. This will help increase capacity and maintain strong quality as demand grows.

When it comes to the materials that create exceptional ceramic components, our facility in Huntsville is the major leagues. We’re producing Hi-Nicalon TypeS SiC Fiber as well as SiC pre-preg tape in an advanced technology, LEAN manufacturing environment. Completed in 2017, this 100-acre campus offers a safety-first, secure workplace where you can perform at your best.
